This Week In AI Business: Google To Launch Its AR Glasses; DeepSeek Impresses, Meta Panicky, & Apple's AI Strategy Fix [Week #4-2025]
The momentum in AI doesn’t seem to slow down at all. Indeed, capital is flowing in from all directions.
This weekly is dedicated to a few key shifts happening in tech. As a key pattern to remember, right now, many incumbents are completely restructuring the whole organization to fit the new developing AI business landscape.
And the thing is, even if they’re all, for now, flush with cash, these incumbents are all flying blind.
That’s the thing, and the purpose of this weekly is to find the signal in the massive noise of this current AI market paradigm.
This is in the spirit of what it means to be a Business Engineer:
We always want to ask three core questions:
What’s the shape of the underlying technology that connects the value prop to its product?
What’s the shape of the underlying business that connects the value prop to its distribution?
How does the business survive in the short term while it sticks to its long-term vision via transitional business modeling market dynamics?
These are non-linear analyses whose goal is to isolate the short-term buzz and noise, find the signal, and make sure you can reconcile the short with the long term!
I’m researching another longer one on The Stargate Issue And The Geopolitics of AI.
Remember to subscribe to premium to get that, as it’ll be an in-depth analysis of the new geopolitical and business context for the next 30-50 years.
A sneak peek below of a deeper analysis that will take into account the intersection of geopolitics, economics, and AI, then straight into the weekly!
