Privacy Policy: The Business Engineer Plugin

This release has no publisher-operated backend.

The plugin consists of instructions, reference files and scripts that run within the AI service or workspace where you use it. Installing or using it does not, by itself, send your conversations or uploaded files to Gennaro Cuofano or BusinessEngineer.ai.

1. Who provides the plugin

The Business Engineer plugin is published by Gennaro Cuofano, creator of The Business Engineer. Questions about the plugin or this policy can be sent to admin@fourweekmba.com.

2. Conversations, files and generated reports

Your prompts, uploaded information and generated reports are processed by the AI service and tools you choose to use. Their storage, retention, security and model-training settings are governed by that service, your account settings and, where applicable, your organization’s agreements and controls.

This version does not include a Business Engineer server, account system, database, subscription API or analytics collector. Its bundled calculation, resource-link and report-generation scripts do not make network requests. Generated reports are saved in your chosen workspace; they are not automatically published to the Business Engineer website.

If your analysis uses web search, connected apps or other host tools, those tools may process queries or information needed for that task under their own permissions and policies. Use the privacy controls of your AI service to manage that activity. The plugin does not grant additional access to your accounts.

3. Related research links and referral information

Analyses may contain optional links to relevant BusinessEngineer.ai research. Some links use fixed campaign parameters to identify this plugin as the referral source. These parameters identify the campaign, report surface and resource; they do not contain your name, email address, business prompt, report contents or an individual user identifier.

If you choose to follow a link, the destination website and its providers may receive ordinary request information such as your IP address, browser details, the link’s campaign parameters and information allowed by your browser. Their privacy notices and settings apply to that visit. The plugin does not load tracking pixels or make background calls to those websites.

4. Newsletters, purchases and external websites

Using the plugin does not subscribe you to a newsletter, create a publisher account or start a purchase. If you separately subscribe, buy a product or visit a third-party service, the notices and terms shown by that service apply. The plugin does not collect payment details.

5. Feedback and support

If you email the publisher, the publisher receives the address and information you choose to include and may use it to answer your request and maintain the related correspondence. Avoid sending confidential company information unless it is necessary and you are authorized to share it. For questions about that correspondence, contact the address below.

Your private analyses are not automatically collected for research, marketing or public case studies. A public case study requires a separate, explicit submission and publication permission.

6. Storage, sharing and your choices

Because this release has no publisher-operated store for your conversations or files, the publisher cannot access or delete those records in your AI account. Use your AI provider’s controls for access, export, retention and deletion. You can stop using or uninstall the plugin, avoid optional links, and ask for an analysis without branding or related reading.

The publisher does not receive conversation data through a plugin backend in this release and does not sell or share such backend data. Information you separately provide through support or another service is outside that statement and is handled through the corresponding channel.

7. This policy website

This page is hosted on Substack, which may process browsing, device, cookie, account and subscription information under its Privacy Policy.

As the publisher, we may receive information you provide when subscribing or interacting with the publication. This is separate from information you enter into the plugin.

8. Changes

This notice describes the skills-only 1.0.x release. A future release with a hosted research service, account connection, usage analytics or other publisher-side processing would require an updated notice describing that processing before it is enabled.
